JWC 2009 – The Semis

As the pools have now been finalised, we know the our teams left for the medal contention with the semi-finals coming up tomorrow.

- Holland versus Korea

- Argentina versus England

The pool round ended up exceptionally tight, to the point where Australia drew with England and dropped out only via goal difference to Korea.  The finals are shaping up to be rippers.   Australia will play Germany on Sunday (Finals day) for 5th place.

At hand in Boston’s Jordan field, was Gryphon Girl Kayla Bashore. As a senior player for the USA women’s team she came to check out the action of the greatest show in the USA. Kayla has recently been playing hockey in Australia, more specifically in Tasmania.
